Please don't go away

By now, the news that Polaroid is ripping my beloved 600 film from the center of my heart is as old as the crowd at the Center for Book Arts lecture I attended Friday. Yes, there are pending rumors about third party pick-ups, but I blame its death on the laziness of digital. Are people just not making things anymore? Come on, folks. Get off the internet and create tangibility. I’m afraid this relic will go in the 2008 time capsule with my Print Gocco. So sad.

These shots are from the Thunderbird American Indian Pow-wow in New York this summer. They’re taken with my SX-70 Alpha I.

See more of my Polaroid SX-70 set on Flickr.
