Hhhhot Wheels

I used to ride past this old truck in North Carolina on my way to school every day that looked just like this one. To say that I coveted its curves and singularity is a pastel way to describe how hhhhot I thought it was. Too bad it was rusted and undriveable, doomed to live up on blocks in a redneck’s yard. When I saw this one in Brooklyn a week ago, it reminded me of that careful little relic from times when people cared a little more about design, a little less about technology.
